A challenge was posed to us over the Christmas holidays, create a pie filled entirely with KFC fried chicken products.

After a few weeks design and planning, we set about baking one.



Although the looks on peoples' faces would have been priceless, we decided to avoid chicken with bones in. We chose KFC fillets and nuggets for the filling, and potato and gravy for gravy.



Mmm.



We layered the bottom of the pastry with potato and gravy and arranged pieces of chicken. Also three snack burgers were involved.



All that KFC laying on top of each other. It was almost pornographic.



We put more potato and gravy on top of the chicken. It got whipped up like the sea in a rough storm.



At last minute we decided to put some cheese on. (everything is better with cheese)



For decoration we cut out official KFC-inspired logos. And some egg and butter to make the tops turn brown and golden.




After 50 mins in the oven... wowsers.
